Private events

Are you celebrating a birthday, a wedding or would you like to invite your friends to an unforgettable aperitif? Whether in a large or more intimate setting, Kai Sushi will surprise your guests with a variety of offers that are completely tailored to your needs. Whether a "one way" sushi buffet for an aperitif, a served flying dinner with the mobile restaurant, or an Omakase with Private Chef at your home: we bring our best creations in a wide variety of offers to your dream location. We are also happy to support you in other organisational matters, such as decoration, floristry, event photography, accompanying music, as well as invitation and menu card design.

Business events

Enrich your next corporate event with the Kai Sushi Experience. Our capacity knows almost no limits and can be adapted to your event. We offer sushi and cold Japanese tapas as a buffet, hot dishes are prepared by us "à la minute" on request and served by our experienced service staff or offered in a flying dinner. Our "Live Cooking Option" with a Sushi Master on site provides for the "wow-effect". Book our business catering for your next meeting, a team meal or a business lunch. Various offers and additional options are available to you, and of course we also cater to individual needs. B2B catering

A partnership with Kai Sushi is a win-win situation with a guarantee of enjoyment. We will be happy to inform you personally about a possible cooperation with you as a reseller of our first-class sushi creations and Japanese tapas.


1. Mobile restaurant at your place (incl. staff)

A rich buffet features mixed sushi platters and Japanese tapas, which are regularly restocked. The hot dishes prepared "à la minute" are served by our experienced service staff. If required, we can support you with drinks service or a bar.

This concept offers guests the opportunity to take cold food from a self-service buffet, while hot food is served by the staff. This allows for efficient distribution of food while ensuring the freshness and temperature of the hot dishes.



  • Menu from CHF 60.- p.p.
  • Add on: Live Cooking: CHF 1200.-
  • Logistics: calculated individually
  • Crockery: from CHF 2.- per person
  • Glasses: from CHF 2.- per person
  • Personnel costs for service: CHF 50.- per hour
  • Personnel costs Event Coordinator: CHF 75.- per hour
  • Sushi Master personnel costs: CHF 100.- per hour


2. Japanese buffet (excl. staff)

We will set up a buffet for you, ready to serve, with our sushi platters and, if you wish, also with hot and cold Japanese tapas. Apart from the logistics, there are no further staff costs for you. You choose between the one-way option with disposable dishes or the premium option with hot plates if required for hot dishes. Both options are ideal if you already have service staff available or for smaller groups. In the Zurich area, we deliver starting at CHF 100.- (one-way).



  • Buffet set-up one-way option: from CHF 100.- (up to 700.- value of goods, thereafter 15% of the value of goods), incl. ready-to-serve dishes in paper decoration boxes, table runners, chopsticks, napkins, wasabi, ginger and soy sauce
  • Logistics Premium Option, incl. hot plates and deconstruction: from CHF 200.-
  • Various additional options such as live cooking possible


3. Private Omakase at home

Experience the magic of Japan in your own home and book an unforgettable dinner for 2 people or more! Our team will come to your place to prepare an exquisite multi-course Omakase menu for you and your guests. We will take care of the set-up, presentation and service so that you can fully concentrate on this culinary journey.   • Transfer (Zurich area), equipment and material,
  • Sushi Master and service staff (3 hours on site): CHF 1400.-
  • Omakase menu, soft drinks and tea: 150.- p.p.
  • Drink package Champagne, Premium Sake, Wine & Beer: 80.- p.p.

Our catering team is not only your expert for delicious food & beverage offers, but also your partner in all areas of event planning. Thanks to our years of experience in catering and events, we are at your side and offer you comprehensive support.

  • Live Cooking Option: A Sushi Master entertains your guests on site with live cooking show elements, such as flambéing and filleting a fish.
  • Event Concept: We help you plan your event from start to finish, including location scouting, decorations, floristry and entertainment, e.g. DJs.
  • Equipment: From porcelain or disposable tableware to bar and buffet construction and technology, we make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Staff and service: our qualified team will take care of your guests' needs so you can relax.
  • Marketing and graphics: We are happy to design customised giveaways, invitations and other printed materials for you. We also support you in influencer marketing and create photos and videos for your marketing purposes on request.
  • Special requirements: We take individual wishes and needs into account to make your event unique.
